Service Rules and Code of Conduct
Introduction
Welcome to Smart Speak English School! To ensure a positive and productive learning experience, we have
established these Service Rules and Code of Conduct. These guidelines are designed to promote respect,
collaboration, and effective communication between students and teachers. By adhering to these rules,
you contribute to creating a supportive and professional learning environment for yourself and others.
Please take a moment to review these policies before starting your lessons. Your compliance ensures the
best possible experience for everyone involved.
1. Respect and Behavior
1.1 All students are expected to behave respectfully and refrain from disruptive actions during classes.
1.2 In group classes, students should:
- Avoid interrupting others or the teacher.
- Allow all participants equal opportunities to contribute.
2. Language and Conduct
2.1 The use of profane language, gestures (e.g., middle finger), or nudity is strictly prohibited.
2.2 Eating during lessons is allowed but discouraged. If necessary, ensure it does not interfere with communication or class participation.
3. Technical Requirements
3.1 Students must ensure their device, microphone, and internet connection are functioning optimally before class.
3.2 Poor internet or equipment that disrupts the lesson may result in reduced learning quality for all participants.
4. Attendance Policy
4.1 25-Minute Classes: Teachers will wait for the full duration if students are late; however, they will only teach for the remaining time.
4.2 50-Minute Classes: Teachers will wait up to 15 minutes. Beyond this, it is considered a no-show, and
the teacher will exit the class.
5. Classroom Environment
5.1 Students are recommended to join from a quiet, distraction-free space to maintain focus and avoid disruptions.
5.2 Proper attire is expected to ensure a professional and comfortable learning environment.
6. Account Usage
6.1 Sharing account details with others is strictly prohibited.
6.2 Students must not request teachers’ personal contact information outside the Smart Speak platform.
6.3 Consequences of account sharing:
- First Violation: A warning will be issued.
- Subsequent Violations: The account may be terminated for breach of contract.
7. Reporting Issues
7.1 Students can leave feedback after each lesson.
7.2 Concerns raised in reviews will prompt the Smart Speak team to reach out and address issues.
